Background material for FIRE Expert Group Meeting in January 2009

FIRE Expert Group has gathered three times before January 2009. There are currently running 14 FIRE and 4 SAC projects, and several activities have already been carried out during the duration of projects. Hence the strategy of FIRE builds on all this.
